George Coetzee plays from water bare-footed at Open de France

Despite producing one of the birdies of the year, george Coetzee fell in the Open de France.
Coetzee let a two-shot edge slide at Le Golf National over the last six holes to finish the week at third place, having left a charge up the leaderboard in improbable fashion in the ninth.
The South Africans tee shot finished left of the fairway and just inches away from the hazard, leaving Coetzee needing to remove his trousers and shoes to wade in the water to perform with with his shot.
Coetzee was able to find a stance in the water to create a clear connection and deliver the ball up the fairway, but then missed the green to depart himself confronting a hard up and down to save par.
Even the four-time European Tour winner had other ideas however, chipping into the first of three birdies at a elongate to place pressure.
